REMXNG 2.3

REMXNG 2.3

REMXNG 2.3 opens with a frenetic, surreal vocal interpretation of ā€œAttunementā€ by the legendary (and only recently reunited) duo Blectum From Blechdom, followed by and old-school Industrial-inspired ā€œHe Deadā€ by former Duran Duran and Roxy Music producer, Ian Little. Minimal techno experimentalist Rrose’s remix of ā€œā€˜96 Neve Campbellā€ features a stuttering, rubbery bounce, and Wobbly (member of Negativland) mangles ā€œBlood of the Fangā€ into a overstuffed, plunderphonic collage. Stazma’s ā€œSay The Nameā€ is a virtuosic Jungle chop, while Speaker Music’s DeForrest Brown Jr. stretches ā€œSay the Nameā€ and ā€œSomething Underneathā€ into syncopated techno abstraction. The EP closes with a woozy, apocalyptic ā€œEaten Aliveā€ by Thomas Dimuzio, who also contributed his talents as a mastering artist to the series of EPs.
