REMXNG 2.3
REMXNG 2.3 opens with a frenetic, surreal vocal interpretation of āAttunementā by the legendary (and only recently reunited) duo Blectum From Blechdom, followed by and old-school Industrial-inspired āHe Deadā by former Duran Duran and Roxy Music producer, Ian Little. Minimal techno experimentalist Rroseās remix of āā96 Neve Campbellā features a stuttering, rubbery bounce, and Wobbly (member of Negativland) mangles āBlood of the Fangā into a overstuffed, plunderphonic collage. Stazmaās āSay The Nameā is a virtuosic Jungle chop, while Speaker Musicās DeForrest Brown Jr. stretches āSay the Nameā and āSomething Underneathā into syncopated techno abstraction. The EP closes with a woozy, apocalyptic āEaten Aliveā by Thomas Dimuzio, who also contributed his talents as a mastering artist to the series of EPs.
